Ballot Measure 2 Passes - What Does That Mean?
Last night, voters passed Ballot Measure 2, a law that will require that parents be notified before a pregnant teen has an abortion. Alaskans Against Government Mandates - Vote NO on 2 would like to thank our coalition of doctors, nurses, school counselors and organizations like the YWCA, Alaska Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Planned Parenthood for their work opposing Ballot Measure 2, as well as the volunteers and donors who have given freely of their time and money to to protect the health and safety of teens all over Alaska.
